I am a complete and total nerd, there is no denying that, and slightly neurotic when it comes to given times, dates, plans, etc. So when B&N said that my gift card had the $80 bucks returned to it from a cancelled online order i belived them. I went to go to the store, even had my books set aside alredy from in-store pick up, go to ring out the card but the thing keeps saying invalid tender so the cashier checks the balance and he gets the same amount of $80 so then this older lady starts giving him and I a hard time saying if it was cancelled there is no way theres money on it blah blah blah just being rude so I spoke up to the clerk and was like why is she being rude to us? he smiled and called in to the service people who said it would take 24-48 hours to be officially on my card for security purposes. So here i am 51 hours later and the card is still invalid. my only option to contact CS was a chat thing which took 10 minutes just to get someone on to look into my problem, now they are saying my card still cant be used and i am still waiting. I have been a very very loyal B&N for years and that may be change.
