what an awesome week this was.....
monday:
got invited to a skybox party for opening day at camden yards... hung out with porsche, nydia, tal, malice, curtis and steve... great view, free food and booze. it was killer.
went out to dinner with paige afterwards then we went over to frijoles and fraziers to hang out with john and brent. good times.
tuesday:
karaoke was dead as hell... but we all managed to have a great time!
wednesday:
worked a dead ass dayshift at the Hustler... then I worked the Showgirl Spectacular that night.... it was a skit challenge including dancers, djs, managers... blah blah blah... BUT, my team (me, wolf, haven, taylor, kayla, bradi and madison) was the only team to enter the compitition..... SO, we were the default winners and get to fly out to St. Louis next week to compete for the national competition.... so that's pretty cool.
thursday:
started out pretty shitty when i got to work and found out that the other dj at work was in the hospital due to kidney failure. he's a great guy and i hope he pulls though ok... it also sucks that we only have one other dj who can only work two shifts a week... out of 13.. that leaves many shifts to be covered by me and one of the managers who knows how to dj.
friday:
because of the situation at work... i had to cancel DJing at fletchers and pull a double at the hustler.... it worked out ok though and we all had a great time.
saturday and sunday:
rested most of the day and worked the hustler at night.
monday:
went down to the dc zoo with michelle from work and her daughter... also paige brought her niece. it was a great time and you couldn't have asked for a nicer day outside.
that is all... it's now nap time... and oh, yeah... with all that work over the past couple of days, i woke up with no voice and it's still really rugged. oh well.
