well yet more drama has befallen me but things are progressing. So went to student health services and the idiots behind the counter neglect to tell me I need to put a piece of paper in the dash of my car... end result, I get towed.
Keep in mind that I have a Subaru Impreza WRX, an AWD vehicle that can't be towed by just two wheels. So pick up my car, pay the fee, and start driving when there's this loud grinding sound. Turns out the moron towed it wrong and blew out my rear differential... can you say lawsuit! Asshole states that he towed it right, but looking at the ticket from the scene the officer wrote directly on it, no dollies, no damage. As in the state with which it left campus... this guys totally screwed and will be paying for all repairs.
Mind you I'm taking care of all this while sick to my stomach and hoping I don't have to rush to the bathroom, so not fun.
ON a good note though I was able to attend a friend of a friend's wedding for which I had to wear my mess dress uniform. Last time I wore this thing (Jan/Feb) I could barely fit into it. Now after much exercising and eating better, the thing fit perfectly! I'm so happy that all my efforts have paid off and I'm back down to my original post-college size again. So much fun and I"m feeling so much better about myself because of it.
So, looking back at the New Year's Resolutions:
1. Get fat ass back into shape: check!
2. Complete a masters: finishing first class this week and deciding where to go from here
3. Learn a martial art: tested and awarded yellow belt, moving on to green belt requirements now
4. Coaching is going strong and we finished the season well... making plans for the fall already
5. Apartment clean: working on it but I've been gone a lot and sick so that's my excuse this time
