Well looks like Sun and Microsoft have issues getting things to work together in one big happy family because the chat feature still won't work for me

Guess i'll just have to get to it using mIRC. Wow, now there's a blast from the past. Haven't used that program since high school I think. It was a good one back then and probably still is now. See if this thing works later though, for now it's off to teh BBQ! whoot!
