Well the week is gone and with it, it has taken the month and my mom. She died on Monday. I made it home in time to say good bye. It was the 1st time I had seen her in 10 or so years.

Its a blessing really, she had suffered in that body for so long trapped in a mind that didnt remember anything of her life. My mom was an amazing woman and the gifts she gave to this world will never be lost.

I'm still kind of numb to it all.

I am grateful I was able to say good bye and that while in Portland I was blessed to see my cherry trees. I had been missing those so very much.
