yesterday i went to warped tour. it was pretty great. i listened to antiflag, imarobot, coheed in cambria, nofx, bad religion and alkaline trio. i was looking forward to coheed in cambria so much but the lead singer was so drunk he laughed through half of the song 'a favour house atlantic' so that kind of sucked. bad religion was awesome, probably my favourite of the day. i've been waiting a couple years to see them.
i felt so punk rock because we had to drink in the parking lot and so i shotgunned a beer. well thats a lie. i didn't feel punk rock. i felt kind of sick. i hate beer but i love shotgunning it. at 1pm. in a dusty parking lot. gogo rin!
when we got there i started counting lower-back butterfly tattoos and i saw 3 in less than 10 minutes. i saw annie and tegan at the ima robot booth--annie is so sweet. i also saw demonika but i knew she'd be there. it looked like her clothing was selling really well, and that's awesome.
i even got a tan on my legs. it's very small, but i haven't gotten a tan on my legs for like 8 years.
this morning i checked my voicemail because some number i don't know keeps phoning me while i'm asleep so i wake up, look at it, then hide the phone again. someone left a message but their phone cuts out so i can't really hear it...it sounds like the guy is saying something about my boss jimmy('jimmy thought you were a friend, i swear to god'), then the phone gets passed to someone else and he starts ranting about 'you gave my little brother a hickey (giggle giggle) blah blah' and in the background someone is saying 'is that rin? let me talk to her. i want to talk to her.' 'it's an answering machine' 'I'M SORRY RIN! I'M SORRY!' one of the voices sounds like my boss, but drunk. super cool.
tonight i might be going to a fashion show/art show held in a parkade. oh, hipsters. how great you can be.
