holy hot dogs, the morning after that last post was rough (because i haven't complained about it enough this week to RL folks). i had to be at work at 8 am, it was minus thirty celsius and i had to shovel a lot of fucking heavy snow. i was very grumpy and even pulled my shoulder all out. the saving grace is at least the sun was starting to come out, so i didn't completely feel like i was in one of the lower circles of hell.

♥ the past few weeks at my "real" job have been super slow, so i've mostly been chilling out at home sewing. look what i made!

♥ in the past week, i have made almost as much working for myself as i have working for my hourly-wage job! i believe i have sold like ten brooches!! i'm on a god damn roll. it feels so good to finally have money coming in instead of just putting in effort for nothing. i know it's gonna be slow going but i'm working hard at this.

♥ because my real job is so slow-goin' right now, tomorrow i have an interview for a company that provides movie extras (!) and i'm going to apply at stupid flames central. ugh. kind of soul-destroying to consider, but this lady has to make some scrilla! help me move to vancouver and get more tattoos! buy my stuff!

♥ speaking of tattoos...i got some from my buddy darren!! holy hell, do i love getting new tattoos, although i found the adrenalin rush i used to get has completely faded. that's ok. i figure i have over 30 hours of work on my body now!

♥ also this week, i took a bunch of self-portraits. and, let's be honest, cat-portraits.
