♥ I subscribe to Criggo and read it daily because it's one of the most consistently hilarious sites on the whole internet. For real.
♥ I am eating nutella on toast for breakfast because the toaster is refusing to toast a bagel. It already did one for Uproot's lunch so I guess I didn't notice the 'One Bagel Per Day' notice it posted.
♥ I went to Disneyland with Irinka last weekend and met a whole passel of rad SG folks.
Irinka even took a few short videos on Thunder Mountain. This was my favourite part of the day--all the SG folks were on the same rollercoaster. We almost took up the whole thing! Then everyone started screaming their heads off and it was so fun. Poopdeck was in front of me & Irinka being hilarious, seeing him scream like that just made me laugh so hard.
♥ I'm trucking along in my course. I wish I could work faster, as I'm only a week ahead of the timeline at this point and I don't want to take six months to finish this course. My first paper (5 pages) should be done by Dec 8 to be on time and I'm mega stressing. I can't believe I'm getting this insane about one course, and I can even do coursework at my job, while the baby's sleeping! It feels good to be so serious about getting this done. This is one of the first things I've ever really applied myself to. I spent an hour and a half working on reading and questions last night, from 9.30-11 and when I was done I was super tired but it felt good that I was able to make myself get through it.
I have no idea how I'm going to get this BA finished before I'm 30 but I'm going to try and load on as many courses as I can after we move. I want to keep my GPA high so I can go to grad school if I ever want. AGGGGGHH school is stressful!
♥ Lately I have been dreaming about a farm. I grew up on a farm and lately city life is wearing on me. I can't wait until I can afford to get back to one. I want all the sweetest animals. Of course I will have a donkey for security (they keep predators out of the pasture), some mini-cows, maybe a mini-horse, some nor al-sized horses, a couple goats, a pet pig (which I had before--a runt from my neighbours' pig farm, we got it at a day old and my mom bottle fed it), a few laying hens so we can have fresh eggs, a duck, a sheep (because sheep are cute and I love them) and of course a couple house cats and a dog. It will be Rin's Zoo. And I have been dreaming about partial off the grid living. I am kind of paranoid and I don't like drinking chemically city water and all those other things that crazy people like me get insane about.
♥ I found a Mohammad Rafi ringtone for my phone yesterday--you know, the Bollywood video I posted a week or two ago! I am so stoked, yesterday I was letting the phone ring extra long to just so I could listen to the song.
