i have been terrible at updating lately. i don't have a lot to say right now. i keep dreaming about my family.

i saw iron + wine and califone in concert last week. holy hot dogs, it was good. i was by myself and my feet hurt but it was almost a religious experience. i hate encores in general but this one was perfect. sam beam came out by himself and sang 'jezebel' with his guitar.

i made the mopiest/loveliest playlist on itunes: the almost complete discography of great lake swimmers, iron + wine, califone, band of horses and okkervil river. i love the shit out of mournful alt-country.

i've bowed to extreme capitalism. i bought a hello kitty waffle maker and it's awesome.

my hair is turquoise but i don't like it as much as i thought i would. it was pink directly before but i'm contemplating switching back to blonde despite the half full tubs of dye lurking in my cupboard. it's hard to wear my cowboy shirts when my hair clashes so horribly. i just need some cowboy boots and turquoise jewelery and i can be weetzie bat on the set of 'coyote'. i already have the snaky jeans. besides, i hardly recognise myself with this hair colour.

is there anything you eat every day? right now i eat nutella on toast every day. yum!!
