i've been trying my best (since my last post) not to procrastinate and i think i'm doing really well so far!
♥ my own madness, my latest rejected set, is--you guessed it--still rejected!! if you haven't checked it out and left a comment, PLEASE do! i'd love to see this set go live. cherry shot it, linds slathered me in cheap cooking oil and leant the space and generally helped out a lot, and redmess did my makeup! i think it looks so beautiful.
anyway i am not going to spam all over to get this up, just in my journal
if you could support it, i'd really appreciate it! i need that set $ like woah! being illegal is no easy task. i can't wait to return to canadia, my love-land, and the sg money would help a tonne.
♥ this week i have baked:
1.) naan, from a recipe emeril gave me (by posting it online). it wasn't really naan-y in that bendy flatbready way but it was still delicious.
2.) mint chip cookies. SOO good. i should have added peppermint extract to the dough but i was doing it late at night so i skipped it and they turned out fine. i made one the size of my head but haven't had the courage to eat it.
♥ cat news! today, while pepin was sleeping on henry's favourite blanket, henry went up to him and started licking his head. i stopped playing wow to watch! it was SO SWEET. because i was watching, they started fighting, but it was really cool up until then.
♥ dog too! he had a fun day because i gave him a great cardboard roll to chew on. we played soccer with it for a bit then he carried it to his bed and gnawed the crap out of it. i was praying he didn't eat it because i didn't want to clean up barf but the dog is low on indoor chew toys (in fact, he breaks almost any chew toy, even the unbreakable kong, in days).
♥ the above three points are proof i need my FOOD! CATS! DOG! BLOG! up.
♥ i downloaded a bunch of rad music this week. albums by: st vincent, sunset rubdown, band of horse and the thermals.
♥ um...do you guys think dreams mean anything? i have been having INSANE dreams. i don't really believe in across the board dream symbology--more often my dreams have obvious significance in regards to daily events, worries, etc, than to some abstract freudian symbol.
♥ i've restarted wow. i'm playing a level 7-9ish (i forget, okay!) tauren shaman called milky. screencaps to follow. i am playing on icecrown (i think) so say hi or else.
♥ the office is probably going to be off the air because of the writers strike. although i love the office, i love human rights more and i hope the writers get the 4c pittance they are asking for. i am tired of companies fucking over the small guy! i can't wait for the day of giant corporations to end. arguably, the few have always survived on the backs of many but i have dreams of an egalitarian society where no one gets fucked by the man and the people in positions to be 'the man' don't abuse them in the name of money and power.
oh hey, did you hear the motion passed for dick cheney to get impeached? i don't know the american political system amazingly well yet but i can't wait to see that asshole burn. figuratively, of course.
