♥ only 20 days until my birthday! do you know what you're getting me? I DO! donate to a charity of my choice! acet is helping me build my long-neglected website (rinster.net, but don't bother. there's nothing there) and it WILL have links to charities i support. for now there is this and i will probably list it every journal entry until my birthday. this is just a few links off the top of my head so it's not too complete but i'll try to expand upon it with every entry.

i feel a little awkward setting this up (almost selfish! how silly!) but i see a lot of girls on this site asking for things from their wishlists all the time. i don't have a wishlist up because i have a comfortable life and i don't need anyone to buy me more books, cds, whatever. i don't really need those things but there are people all over the world who can really use that money in better ways than me asking for gifts from people i've never met.

besides, if you support the charity for me, i will do something for you! i'll send a print of one of my photos or one of my modeling photos, some handmade little postcards, magnets, etc. i want to give back to the people who help me out with this.

♥i know you have all been DYING to see more evidence of my prowess as a photographer so here you go! i have been taking a tonne of photos of my animals because there's no one else to model for me all day.

here he is, chilling out by my (vanilla caramel, omg!) tea around 8 am today.

yesterday he was fighting with my purse all day. why? because he is insane. he is up for a promotion though. he is getting along with the dog pretty well but i need to print him up a certificate before he can get his promotion. if i paid him he'd get a raise but maybe i'll just buy him some catnip. i bought him this cute little crinkly ghost the other day and he is ignoring it. maybe he didn't get the memo that cats like crinkly shit.

we got buzz this bone the other day because he didn't get to come to the dog beach with us (he always drinks too much sea water and then barfs all over, or pees on the balcony, or any number of gross bodily emission things). he keeps bringing the bone into the house when i'm not looking and i have to keep busting his balls about it. well, his metaphorical balls, as he is among the gelded.




yesterday was bath-time. buzz hates bath time. i don't know what his deal is! he must not be able to smell himself pre-bath. these pictures crack me up so much. the look on his face is priceless.

♥ i set an email address up for my mom. did i mention that yet? whatever. anyway, it's nice to be able to send her photos without wasting the money/time to get them printed out so i can snail mail them. it's okay if they are good photos, but what will she do with photos of my house here? nothing. she is probably visiting at the end of october. just in time for her birthday! a smashing time will be had.

♥ payday soon, i hope. ARGH.

♥ anna karenina is SUCH a clunker of a book. i am positive tolstoy got paid per word. it is SOOOO BORING but i only have two hundred pages left so i've got to finish it. he's been wasting the last 20 or so pages on describing an election that so far has no pertinence to the story. he keeps describing speeches, electoral processes, etc, while leaving out the issues. and if you think it's not boring to read about politics with all specifics of the situation left out, i challenge you to read this part of the book. your eyes and/or brain very well may turn to dust. i'm warning you!

♥ i made new earrings! they are a lot like the ones i'm wearing in my profile pic/pink sky set but they are white and they end up being around 1/2 inch. right now my ears are 0g. i'm taking the pluge as soon as the plasticky fimo smell wears off.

♥ i have like 10 albums to review! i have been a pretty hardcore pirate this week. i downloaded the new coheed & cambria without even realising till later that it's, um, not set to be released for another six weeks. it's kind of suck so i don't recommend it, even though i have a major love on for c&c.
