i look grumpy, but i was testing my camera and the sun was bright.
on saturday, we went to sunset cliffs and poked around at tidepools and i brought home probably a pound of shells. okay, maybe a bit less. but whatever.
on sunday, we walked around and got the worst teriyaki bowls in the history of mankind and went to the art museum. it was really nice.
i couldn't get to sleep last night. it was all rolling around and ideas this and thoughts that and i was missing winter in calgary. WHAT? i am a nerd. seriously. the sun must be melting my brain.
i had bizarre dreams of having some horses escape and having it to do with the ponoka stampede (points to anyone who knows what that is whithout the power of a search engine). i am missing alberta! everything, the people, the flora, the topography, the places. oh well. only a few months till i can visit.
my cat, henry, yells WAY too much. he was chasing a bug right now and now he's howling because he didn't catch it. i've never owned such a chatty beast! when i was trying to sleep this morning he was trying to wake me up by pawing my face every 5 seconds. it was endearing but i wasn't in the mood, to be honest.
i am a grumpster today! yuck.

My dream last night was strange. I dreamt of laying around with my complicated relationship guy and showing him around the new apartment. I also dreamt of some dessert that was really tasty, which in my dream was called Polky and was made out of chocolate covered oatmeal balls of some kind covered in milk. It was amazing in my dream. Oh, and I dreamt of how to rearrange my living room. I have the strangest dreams *shrug*
I don't know why you would miss winter...maybe only because the lack of mittens because mittens are happy things. but other than that you are better off living there
