over the past couple days i have kept thinking, 'i should really write a journal about this!' since i didn't, i think i've forgotten a lot. oh well.
♥ yesterday i went to the beach! it was very nice, though i haven't yet succeeded in tanning my thighs. i look silly because everywhere else is getting tan.
♥ my cat is so coy.
he is sitting on my lap right now and purring. it is delightful!
♥ i got lots of stamps yesterday. yay for letters! i think i have 5 things to mail today.
♥ i am going to be volunteering with la jolla friends of the seals starting next friday. actually, my ol' uproot will be volunteering with me so that will be fun. the minimum commitment is like 3h a month so we'll see how much we actually are out there.
♥ today i am going up to encinitas to read for a part in an indie movie. that is pretty exciting because i just applied to be an extra. it is good because even if i don't get the part (i'm not sure how well i can act) i still get to be an extra! i really just want to se what is involved in filmmaking. hopefully the part is small and i get it.
♥ last night i made brownies at 11pm. i'm eating one for breakfast now.
♥ i am going to be getting a new tattoo soon! it has been almost a year since i got my last ones (cupcakes) but we saved some wedding money for tattoos. as soon as the gentleman gets a job we will be getting them.
it's from a scythian cheiftain mummy! they are some of the oldest tattoos ever and because i'm of ukrainian heritage it's completely plausible that they are my ancestors. plus their style of art is so cool and super-stylized. i am a mega history dork so this tattoo makes sense.
♥ i just found out about ukiyo-e (japanese woodblock painting)! it is so cool. i like this one.
♥ today after my audition we are going to the ocean beach street fair! i hope there are mini-donuts. i love those things.
