now that i have had a few days to process everything: camp was awesome. it was so crazy dramatic (more than probably anything else i've gone through) but also completely rewarding.
i had a lot of nightmares while i was gone, though. some about moving and some about other stuff. the first night i was gone i was sharing a hotel-bed with my pal jeri and i woke up yelling 'help me' and shaking her. i was kind of embarassed, as that has never happened to me before.
another embarassing moment (which is funny, as i rarely get embarassed): a friend sean, was over on saturday afternoon. i was planning on sewing while i was hanging out with him, so i escorted him into the library, where my sewing stuff is and a couch and my mouse cage. i hadn't checked on the mouse in the 12 or so hours since i'd gotten home, but i did then and it was...dead. so i was like 'oh, my mouse is dead. this is awkward...' and then i disposed of it. later my roommate manda told me it died while i was gone but they were not sure they should phone and tell me...i wish they had! then i would not have got a semi-embarassing surprise in front of my friend!
as for this coming-up week: i work at the library a bit, and am working on lots of sewing and knitting and jewelery to sell, to finance my move. if you have any requests on anything (plugs, tapers, small stuffed monsters, scarves/arm warmers) let me know and we can talk bidness. i'll be posting in the sg sales group with some stuff in the next few days. keep your eyes peeled!
