Rigadoon's rant of the day:
1. If you don't consider yourself a feminist, why the hell are you in a feminist class????
2. By agreeing with and spreading stereotypical views of women, you are perpetuating the problems that cause us to struggle.
3. If you believe that all women who kill themselves (artists and writers like Virginia Woolf and Sylvia Plath, for example) are crazy and that women, in general, are hysterical and dramatic, shut the fuck up because you annoy me.
4. If you cannot see that not everyone fits into the little stereotypical boxes that gender-identification tries to pigeonhole us into, open your eyes. Just because you are content being your little privilaged, upper-class, white self does not mean that others aren't struggling to overcome problems you fortunately don't have to deal with.



UGH!!! I honestly hate people sometimes. Ignorant people especially who make generalizations and perpetuate stereotypes. I also hate when a point is brought up, a valid one, I might add, and no one can open up their brain in the slightest to make any kind of intelligent remark or reply. People annoy me today!!!!
