Sorry I'm writing so late but...
Punk rock bowling last weekend was fucking awesome! I really tried to make sure I go to all the festivities but I missed two out of three pool parties due to some shitty hangovers.
The one pool party I did manage to make was at the plaza and I'm glad I at least made that one! Tony Cadena from the adolescents, the drummer from the dead Kennedy's, the singer from the damned, and a few others I can't remember right now haha had a super jam! It was badass.
Both of the sold out club shows I managed to see. Luckily scalpers are pretty easy to find. On Saturday night I got to see the unseen, the business and agnostic front and Sunday night I got to see the angry Samoans, tsol and 7 seconds. Both fucking awesome.
Pretty much all weekend most of the band members who played were hanging out in the crowd so I was able to meet and chat with a few. I'm sure I made a total ass of myself since I was so hammered everyday but Monday.
By far my favorite fest day was Monday. Even though I had started the morning puking my brains out the bands I got to see made it worth it. Flag, subhumans, lower class brats, and dri just to name a few.
Of course as a consequence of having a bad ass weekend my immune system decided to be shitty and I got a nasty cold. My body being all bruised and cut up from skanking in the pit and crowd surfing made work pretty miserable this week.
Dispite looking like I got jumped I still had an awesome time, met some awesome people, ate some awesome food and had some awesome hangovers (just kidding hangover are never awesome). I can't wait to see who will be playing next year. Until then the fuck you we rule fest is coming up then the highly anticipated rebellion fest. Life is really been pretty fucking great lately.

The Angry Samoans/TSOL/7 Seconds show was one I totally wanted to get too,
but with the time zone difference, I was just too wiped out Sunday to really try to give it a go.
Still a great time, all in all.
