I'm kicking myself for not going to SDCC, and I had a stressful week at work, so I may have done some shopping therapy to make up for it.

I finally bought some dresses from ModCloth. I'd been admiring some of them for a while, but I'm always weary of buying from places I can't ever try on in person. Like, I usually know how Forever 21 stuff fits, because I've been into a store a few times. But the reviews were fantastic. I loved that I could find people around my size and see how they though a dress fit. And I was super happy with the dresses I got!

I also bought myself some new earring! I love them.

And I got this super rad pop-up book. It's so well done!

I'm currently catching up with all SDCC the panels that have been posted online. It's the best way I can spend my Sunday. I have so much love for Bryan Fuller and the Hannibal creators/cast. They really enjoy and understand fandom, and are doing a wonderful job with the show. I am dying over Tom Hiddleston's appearance as Loki during the Marvel/Thor 2 introduction, and the X-Men: Days of Future Past cast just fills my heart with joy.

Oh! And I also saw Pacific Rim last week. Twice. Because IT IS AMAZING! Everyone should go watch it. For many reasons. But mostly because fun, uplifting, well shot, wonderful stories of heroes working together need to be supported. And movies where there are POC as main characters, and female main characters (especially ones that aren't sex symbols), and disabled characters that are just as important as the physically fit superheroes to defeating the enemy need to be supported. Hey, they even have 2 alt/tattooed, incredibly intelligent, science or tech oriented characters who are awesome! But also because of giant robots and giant alien lizards.

I adored Pacific Rim so much, and I love your earrings . I am a sucker for big shiny things in robots or jewelry  form!
