I just broke my damn iPod.
Seriously I'm pissed. Not necessarily because it's broken, but because it was for a stupid reason. My dumb ass dropped it on my wood floor while I was cleaning dust out of it's case and the LCD screen broke. Now the screen isn't working and the earphone plug is shorting out so only one earphone works.
I have to buy another. iPod is my lifeline. It's my portable hard drivefor school, my sanity, and my protection from people bothering me on the street.
It will still work as a 30 GB drive, I just can't listen to music anymore.

There goes my new camera lens I've been saving for. FUCK FUCK FUCK I really wanted to replace my kit lens with a 28-135mm.
The question is do I ebay one for cheap and not get the warrenty (because I know they'll come out with a touch screen iPod over 30 GB soon) or do I buy one of the new metal ones, with the warranty and the engraving?

you know SF being iPod central and the fact that there's a brand new iPod on the market i'm thinking you're going to be able to find one on craigslist for pretty cheap. i'm guessing a bunch of people just went and bought the "new" thing and are selling they're "old" ones for pretty cheap.
