So I was suppose to go to see Stars at the Distrikt tonight but find myself at home missing out on the fun once again frown . These last few months it seems like the things I'd really like to go to happen on my daddy duty weeks. I'm not real bitter as being a dad has tons of rewards and a hug from my little girl always reminds me of that smile. However, I still get bummed out when I miss out on outings like this one.

Originally, I cancelled because my normal sitter was busy but tried an alternate sitter today and things looked to be a go. So I got a hold of my good friend, Surrealboy, who set me up with a spare ticket to the sold out event. Then 1/2 an hour before I was ready to go the alternate sitter phones and cancels because her friend was having a party. Thus I'm a little ticked off mad .

Oh well guess I'll have to party hard enough to make up for it next weekend smile. Tonight I shall simply tuck the little runt into bed crank up the Doors, really been into their stuff lately, and unwind. It's been a busy week I could use the R&R.

She cancelled because she went to a party? See that's the problem with the kids of today, no responsibility at all. If they say they'll come and babysit for you so you can get all boozed up, grab hot girl's bums after snorting lines of coke off of toilets and getting into a fight with some jerk who looked at you funny, they should at least have the responsibility to show up. Fucking kids, don't their parents teach them anything? I was disappointed you couldn't come last night. It was fun and the show was good.
