I think, next to phenomenal sex, making a true homemade pasta sauce is the most physically draining exercise one can engage in. I've been in the kitchen all day working on mine. It's Saturday morning, it's pouring rain outside, I'm lying in bed reading Dr.Seuss to my little one. He just drifted off for an early morning power nap. It's moments like this, as I listen to the sound of a driving rain, pounding on the windows, juxtaposed to the sound of his sleeping breaths, that I think, a la Bob; "everything's gonna be alright".

It's been a long, hard couple of days. We've had multiple, daily traumas, MVC's, cardiac and respiratory arrests, and deaths. Summer is definitely here boys and girls. The positive is that with the ER like this, my insomnia seems to take a break for a bit. Also, the overtime is unreal. Nap time.... surreal
