Blog number one. Well, I'll keep it short and sweet. I was broken up with at the beginning of the summer. My heart did shatter ever so. Still having mixed feeling about the whole thing. The girl said it wasn't me, it was her. Pretty cliche.

Then I spent the summer up at the most amazing off the hook Element YMCA skateboard camp. I run the media program up there in the summer which entails teaching young media interns the ropes of putting together a skate video. I put one together every week for 8 weeks. I also shot a wedding while I was up there (which was painful due to the break up...). Here are some tastes from camp:




I came home just recently, and the girl decided she had had enough of not having me in her life, and decided to finally let me know that about a week after I had already mentally given up on her, and trying to get her back. I didn't understand why she would want to break up with me and stay friends during the break. It seemed so cruel. Sigh.

So that's where I'm at. Back home, trying to sort all the pieces of my life back together. Catch up with old clients, finish residual work from the summer, and nurture a love that didn't quite exactly burn out...
