As predicted, the time I had to do my assignment was squandered on sleep, sex, and other delights that did not involve me writing forty-ish pages because without the pressure of the cruch I'm not really all that good at working. Now I have to face the fact that whatever it is that I manage to push out in the next day will be subpar for want of sufficient editing time. And the saddest thing? It'll still be better than most of what the other students turn in.
I really need to focus and write everyday. I used to be able to. I think. Pretty sure I remember I time when I was able to do that. Productive years.
After these next three days are over (which should be filled with manic writing activity), I'm going to attempt the 3k-a-day writing regiment. Three thousand words every day, regardless of quality or project. I'm fairly certain I'm capable of doing it (I've done it and more in the past and shall attempt to do so again in the next day) and feel that the rhythm will be good for me.
And I'm a tad sleep deprived today, so I'm sure that'll help my writing quality.
Other than all that, I'm super.

I am always amazed at how my half-assed attempts at schoolwork are met with good grades. I think it's mostly because everyone elses shit is even more half-assed than mine... if that is possible...
