It's strange. In the past two days I've had three conversations about where I liked living the most (dorm, apartment, home) while doing my undergrad work. It took a little effort to convince them each time that there were advantages and disadvantages to each; no one place was better in every respect than the others. Considering that I'm growing more and more restless with where I'm currently living, it just seems strange that discussions of moving in the past have been brought up.
One thing that I'd forgotten about living in the dorms was that one of my neighbors had completely the opposite sleeping schedule as I do, and he wasn't shy about screaming at me because he was trying to sleep when I'd play music. I never returned the yelling favor, though. Always seemed rather uncouth to me. I'm glad I don't live there anymore (couldn't anyway), but there were things to like.
And I miss being surrounded by beauty. That most of all.
