- It would appear that I'm being pursued for once. Being the seduced is so much easier and more enjoyable than being the seducer. Granted, things would be moving more swiftly and smoothly were I in pursuit, but I'm rather enjoying sitting back and watching it all unfold.

- The new Magnetic Fields album i comes out on Tuesday. It's more than a little unfair that everyone (including myself, unfortunately) will compare the new album to 69 Love Songs instead of simply evaluating it on its own merits. I'm sure it'll compare favorably, but still.

- Coming up on the end of another degree, I'm reminded of the film If Looks Could Kill where the main character fails to graduate high school because he didn't pass French class, which prompts his father to say, "You don't know what to say? How about, sorry mom and dad, I would've liked to graduate, but I couldn't fit it into my dating and partying schedule? Or, I was too busy doing jack shit instead of going to my French class." The thought of red tape preventing graduation (and leading to a subsequent career is espionage) pops up from time to time. Randomness in the neurons that has no basis, but unwelcome nonetheless.

- I just discovered music blogs. This is really going to have a negative effect on my finances.
