Been a ghost around here for a couple weeks... long story short my best friend was engaged to a dirty porn star (i insult her not for what she does but for having herpes and continuing to do what she does) whom i could not deal with so me and my boy parted ways... anywho he is back and we have been tearing up the town every night...between that and working all but 4 days in april and may this is the first chance i've had to recharge my batteries... life goes pretty well right now but a part of me feels a bit down because when i broke up with my ex a couple months back i pushed her away because my life was in shambles and i didn't want to drag her down into my mess... my feelings for her are still as strong as ever but i feel like the way i ended it and the time that has passed have made a reconciliation a bit tough...

ON BRIGHTER NEWS... 3 of my top ten favorite bands have released albums within the last month...

No offense to you. I've lived here most of my life too and it sucks watching a place change for the worse. Places like South Street used to be one of the coolest spots in the US, but things change. Good places have shut down, and the attitude has changed. I used to love escaping the city and visiting family just outside of Philly, but all that beautiful countryside has been over ridden with Starbucks and Walmarts. And man, I've dealt with so much shit from the local government here.
I hope you're able to get all the good things that this place has to offer, because there are still a lot of them, but I need a break from it.
