Had a great weekend after a really lousy week.
I did a LOT of birdwatching. On Saturday, I saw 67 different species in Jackson Park, and nobody called me "white boy" this time. Sunday's weather wasn't as nice, but I did see some great birds then too. For the weekend, I must have seen about 75 species, including 3 that I had never seen before (least bittern, least flycatcher, summer tanager).
Just in case the birding didn't convince you of my nerdhood, I also bought the entire Robotech Macross Saga on DVD this weekend.
I better do something cool quick.
Oh yeah, my band is playing on Wednesday. Check my events tab for details.
