Okay, so I'm back.

Sorry I've been away so long. Did I sort out what needed sorting out? Not really. Do I have a good reason for being gone? Probably, but it's none of your business.

But hell, I was bored without you guys.

While I've been gone, there's been some excitement (both good and bad).

I've had some interest from a couple of the labs to which I've written. I'm waiting for my reference letters to be sent, but it looks like within 6 months or so, I'll be living in either Seattle or New York.

Wish me luck on that one.

I'm also excited because my girlfriend, Beth, is going to spend most of June with me. She has a month between boards and her third year of medical school. It will be so nice to see her, knowing I don't have to drop her off at the airport in two days. We have a LOT of catching up to do. I mean, I talk to her nearly every day, but that's not the same as being together.

I don't need any luck on that one. Just a little patience to make it through the rest of May without her.

Well, it's good to be back. I'll try and catch up with everybody. This may take a while, but I'll do my best.
