I left work around 11:30 Sunday night. On my way home home (about 3 blocks from my place) I saw police cars, yellow tape, and a small crowd, and then realized there was a dead body on the sidewalk.
Apparently, he had been shot to death by members of a rival gang. He was 27, and lived a half a mile away from me. Kind of scary. I walk by there all the time.
I'll be gone on vacation for the next week or so. I'll probably not check in much until the 22nd. Take care of each other while I'm gone.
