I really don't understand my sister. We were pretty close for a long time. We went to the same punk rock shows, interacted with the same people. Somewhere along the line, however, she became really conservative, and I don't get why. It has nothing to do with religion. Of the two of us, I'm the religious one, and she's the one who says she doesn't believe in organized religion. Maybe she's just tired of arguing with our parents.
Went record shopping the other day and scored a lot for $50. I got albums by the Donnas, Grant Hart, The Strike, Samiam, and Limp Wrist. I also scored some 7"s from the Jesus Lizard, Tar, and the Knack. Not a bad haul.
I'm taking a little more than a week off, starting next Thursday. Should be nice.
