New Years.
Last years resolutions:
1)Brush up on my French
STATUS: Listented to a lot of French music, read about a page of Camus' L'etranger, watched Les Parapluies de Cherbourg without subtitles.
OVERALL RATING: 4/10
2)Learn how to play "You Are Too Beautiful" on the piano
STATUS: Still can't play the piano.
OVERALL RATING: 0/10
I don't think I need to make any resolutions this year. 2005 is going to be full of changes regardless. In the coming year, I will finish and defend my Ph.D., find a post-doc (job), and move away from Chicago for the first time in my life. Thinking about it this way makes me scared and kind of sad. Maybe I should just vow to lose 10 pounds or something.
