Did you know:
--The neighborhood I live in in Chicago (Hyde Park) is home to a nesting colony of Monk Parakeets.
--I'm trying to like every kind of food there is and am doing a good job so far. I still need to learn to like grapefruit, but am softening up on cranberries. I had a recent setback when I decided I really don't like pecans.
--I just got back from The Art Institute of Chicago, where I saw an exhibit of Seurat's paintings and drawings, many of which were in preparation for his monumental La Grande Jatte, and now I want to be an artist.
--I'm extremely narcissistic, which has manifested itself lately as a love of clothes. Unfortunately, this is not accompanied by a mountain of money with which to buy clothes.
