Back from vacation. Getting settled again in the lab and packed up in my apartment, as I will be moving in a week. Actually, I haven't started packing yet, which frightens me.
Vacation was fun. It was nice to spend time with my girlfriend for a change. Might be a while before I get that kind of time to spend with her again.
On the way home I went to the Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium, which features tanks with fish, turtles, snakes, ducks, alligators, and octopus. Okay, the last one was a bit of a stretch for a Mississippi river museum, but I guess if I had a chance to get my hands on an octopus, I'd make room for it too, even if I was the owner of a salt shaker museum.
I'm still on vacation brain and it is absolutely beautiful out, so that's all I'm going to have to say right now.
