Yeah, I saw the Wierdos several times. We Got the Neutron Bomb is a classic. As to the old skool bands I have seen...I have seen almost anybody who was good since about 1978. Clash, Buzzcocks, Jam, Ramones, Television, Talking Heads, Blondie...all the great original groups from the late 70's in their primes. All the great L.A. bands from that era...X (probably 100 times), Alleycats, Weirdos, Plugz, Zeros, Germs, Screamers, Go-Go's, Black Flag, etc. I never saw the Pistols since they didn't come through L.A. A bunch of people drove up to S.F to see them at Winterland in what turned out to be their last show. I have always regretted not making that trip. I saw Public Image Ltd. in about 1980 and Johnny was fucking amazing. One of the greatest shows I've ever seen. I may go to see the Pistols on this current tour (even though I know it will be shit) just to say I saw them.
