im kind of angry about this new found obsession with pirates that everyone has. allow me to explain. in high school me and all my friends were dubbed the "corner crew" by pretty much the entire school...because we sat in the corner at lunch. our crew consisted of a bunch of punks, thrash metal kids, skaters, and just all around low lifes that hated all the jocks and stupid asses at our school. we were feared and respected by everyone, and we were very territorial about our corner...fighting anyone stupid enough to come over and talk shit. see the corner was a long standing tradition at Westlake high school...maybe you guys have heard of a little band called STRIFE...they actually started the "corner crew." ( other bands such as 88th mark, the mortuary, and Ember have also called the corner their home ) so we had to keep it alive. even the administration knew us as the "corner crew" and they pretty much left us alone. fighting, stealing, throwing shit at people, and just causing a ruckus in general was kinda our thing...and it was for this reason that we planted a flagpole in the soil by our corner and hoisted a 3 foot by 5 foot pirate flag during lunch.

this started 5 and a half years ago, and i have been a pirate before for halloween, but this year if i dress up as a pirate everybody will ask me if i am Captain Jack Sparrow and i will be forced to cut them. that wonderful wonderful movie is now causing me great distress and sullying my title of pirate because now everybody and their mother will be dressed as one.

so who thinks i should be a ninja turtle in stead? im thinking maybe Raphael?
