at last ...

a drummer

it's as if Saint Bonham was looking down on us thinking how unjust it was that we were without
and then by the grace of his double stick weilding hand i bumped into Dave
our two bands had shared the same bill twice before, so he's familiar with our sound and when we chatted he was well up for it
picked up a MD of an old gig from me today and we're gonna play next wednesday
i'm so relieved i don't have to teach someone those old tunes all over again. some of the songs are about 3 years old
i need to be in a position where i can play them for old times sake and at gigs and that's it
thankfully Dave is a great session player and i've heard him do covers spot on, so i know he can learn each tune perfectly from a CD

i'm so happy i've also been thinking about a name change for the band

LuxRothChop is kinda cool in a weird way but i'm just sick of everyone you tell going " what's that ?" or " eh ? "

it seams like an apt time for a new name
we haven't played since the end of last year
we have a new drummer
and we got 10 new tunes to finish off

let me know any name suggestions
