well, i'm in pain despite the opiates i'm embibing in the form of co-codamol
yesterday i had minor abdominal surgery
and i'm really gutted ( get it ?) that they wouldn't let me take a pic with my phone, because it was sooooo gross
i've had a tiny fatty lump beneath the skin on my right hip for about 20 years and it was slowly getting bigger, recently about the size of a small orange segment
so i thought, i'm gonna get this cut out
after two really rather painful injections, ( a little bit too close to you know what )
what was removed, which, thank god, wasn't a mutant, miniture, twin brother actually turned out to be closer to the size of a bunch of grapes
off white/yellow grapes, wobbling around on the end of the surgeon's knife
" there you go " he said, with satisfaction
" Jesus Fucking Christ !!! " i replied
and then was most disapointed when they wouldn't let me turn my phone on to take a picture
the pills i popped at 3pm are kicking in nicely now
i don't think i should be at work though
well, no heavy lifting for me
although i might just manage another cup of tea
