our debut gig was great
we had the most crowd there and everyone seemed to enjoy it, so, well pleased
and then last night had the pleasure of seeing Tool at Brixton
so nice to see them in a smaller venue again, i missed the summer shows last year, only catching the big arena ones near the end of the year
i think Maynard had some throat problems but it didn't hamper a breathtaking show
nor did Adam Jones' guitar pedals, that kept needing attention from one of the lab coats
incase you've never seem a Tool show in recent years, the techs wear white lab coats as they dash around the stage in the dark, fixing little faults, like Alt. Rock OompaLoompas
and as a bonus the support act totally rocked
Russian Circles and they're playing in Brighton on the 3rd Sept. i'm there

trouble is, everyone that uses valve amps loves them, which is fair enough.
the valve amp i tried at the same time sounded so good, it gave me a boner. but it was too pricey.
the one i'm getting i like anyway. it does what i want, and it'll be loud enough. i'm happy with that at the moment.
plus i'm hardly the best guitarist! a valve amp is wasted on me, hahaha!
