it's nearly 1am and i'm just finishing work
the bands are gone
the bins have been emptied
and i'm sitting with a huge pile of tangled mic leads
i'm gutted
my gig is cancelled for this thursday as the shity pub it's in is closed for refurbishment

but, (ray of sunshine) wed 16th was a success, so were on again for wed 2oth aug at the Joint-west st. Brighton-the night is called Chop Chop
my bed is calling
so is my sweet round pregnant wife

yeah, doubt the DK's will go for the chart thing, but winning their court case against Jello means the guys can continue to play, so thats cool. And now my mates with them!
I love Brighton (even though I live in South London) - I wouldn't say I'm there "regular", but I have a few friends in Brighton, and we try and get down there a few times over the summer (assuming we get one). But I do tend to go to a few gigs throughout the year (only takes 50mins for us to get down there).
I love The Concorde!

it's nice having a place at home to see bigger bands rather than having to travel up to London
maybe one day i might get to do a support slot there
