Hey SG-land, I'm not on here much, but like to stop by once in a while and let y'all know what I'm up to photographically.

The first portrait is the actor James Cosmo (most known recently as the Captain of the Night's Watch in Game of Thrones). I was asked to take this portrait at a film screening of a monologue by James, called 'The Pyramid Texts.' There was no additional lighting permitted so I got creative and used the cinema itself as a light source.

The second portrait is of a fitness coach currently smashing it at obstacle course races all over the place. I wanted to capture the feeling of running, so used a combination of flash and ambient light to give me crisp details and slight blurred motion.

The third is a collection of portraits I did with actor Craig Conway. I wanted a feeling of connection with the viewer, so used natural light, and an informal conversational approach.

In other news, I'm pretty excited as I'm off to LA in April for a workshop with a fantastic portrait photographer :)

I'm looking for models at the moment, so if anyone wants to work with me, feel free to say hello x
