The Japanese have a term 'Tenouchi,' which literally translates as 'the inside of the hands.' In the Sword arts, and internal arts there is an understanding that there is a whole world inside the hands, and that this relates to the path of life.
I am putting together a personal project: double portraits of people's hands and faces in two separate photographs that will be arranged next to each other.
