Well I have said hello, might as well introduce myself now. As stated, I am a grumpy, old, fat man. It is actually more a hobby then anything right now, but when I retire in about 30 years I plan on taking it up full time.
This is actually my second time on SG. I previously had a membership between 2003 and 2006. Honestly don't remember why I let the original lapse, though the thought of resuming that account didn't appeal to me, so I started anew.
So, as I sit here in my box, working for a vague yet menacing government agency, I am a 46 year old male. I drive a pickup and ride a motorcycle. I'm a Reagan Republican who is supporting Bernie Sanders. I don't care what lifestyle you lead, religion you choose, or if you think the earth is flat. We all have to work together. Over the many years in the profession I have chosen, I have become an asshole. I most likely suffer a form of PTSD as well. I'm sure there is a correlation between the two. I grew up listening to country, rockabilly, punk, and goth music. I believe Dr Dre is one of the greatest talents of all time, and have spent the last fifteen years eagerly awaiting his next album. I enjoy playing Resident Evil, Silent Hill, and Dead Space at two in the morning with all the lights off. I'm addicted to Halo. I enjoy the Arkham series because Batman. I read Science Fiction, From Verne and Wells to current. Robert Heinlein always has been and always will be my favorite. There isn't enough room on the interwebs for me to go into movies.
