You know, I've never been to Vegas, and it's never seemed like a place I want to go? I hear its fun, but doesn't feel "me," ya know? Maybe I'm wrong and I'd love it, though.
Glad you got some sleep, m'dear. The "falling asleep" thing is always the hardest part, followed closely by the "staying asleep" thing. Hehe. In between, though, you're golden.
What do I do? Yeah, it's cold in the winter...and sometimes in the autumn, spring, and summer, too.
But we just grin and bear it. You don't even notice it after a while. Can't let life stop because the snow has started, ya know? 'Sides, the snowfall can be quite lovely to watch. So we go out to clubs and bars and restaurants and stuff...we just wear nice warm coats over our clothes. 
Yeah...sometimes ignorance really is bliss, and what you're really getting isn't as good as you thought it was. Life is made of such things, I guess.
