This story haunts me day and night!!!!!!!!! But soon, soon i shall finish the book. Then all shall be well inside my head... at least for awhile he said.
BOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Barked the thunder as lightning crackled outside overhead, causing the hairs on Trip Slaters neck to stand-up and go running around screaming at each other in fright! It had been raining continuously now for exactly thirty-seven days and thirty-eight nights, and there wasnt anything even remotely close to an end in sight. Most people had welcomed the rains when they had first started over a month ago today. But Trip Slater, like most folks old enough to remember just how bad things once had been, had learned to dread the rains while growing up in the sewers below. Because with the rains came floods, and with the floods come rats, and with the rats. came death. Was the saying his grandmother had all too often loved to tell him as a boy.
But grandma.. Trip heard himself asking the old woman shyly all those years ago.
Yes my love? She had whispered as she helped his mother clean the dishes from the table where they had all just ate, and he still sat. All the while, smiling that strange unsettling way she always had, as if knowing already and somehow longing for what she knew he was about to ask.
b-but if the rats bring death Trip had stuttered, frightened as he had all too often been by the way the candle light somehow always seemed to avoid the touch of his grandmothers heavily lined face, and suddenly sickened by the memory of what he had just so eagerly stuffed himself with at lunch. t-then why do we eat them so much?
Because my love She had smiled, looking up at him from across the table with those eerily glowing hazel-brown eyes which had always seemed to know just a little too much. if we didnt eat the rats She purred as her smile grew impossible large. ..then we would have had to of eaten all the children, including you, a very long.long.long time ago.

If you have to sacrafice a virgin, I'm glad I'm not one....okay, well even if you don't have to sacrafice her, I'm still glad that I'm not one... I'm sending in the photoset to SG soon, but I don't think that they will accept. Have a good day!
