If there's one thing I've found over the years, it's that having a job can do wonders for you.

Aside from the obvious reasons (money problems, bills piling up, and so on), having a job gives you a reason to get up in the morning. Gives you something to do with your day. Even tho I haven't worked for more than 2 weeks at a time since I lost my job a year and a half ago, just those couple weeks of work will make me feel like an entirely different person.

I'm proud of you for applying for the job. Trust me, when you get it, you will feel so much better about so many things. Hell, if nothing else, a full day working will keep you from having any time to feel bad.

I totally understand. A shitty job is even worse than no job. because you know what kind of hell you're in for.

The new job sounds like it will be exactly what you need!
