Thats super cool. I have a similar infatuation with pole dancing. I started going to strip clubs and being super interested in how they do those sweet tricks. I ended up buying a pole on ebay for a lot cheaper than buying it normally. I got an X pole and I really like it. It's one that spins... having one that spins is way better than one that holds still as far as I'm concerned. Then I just bought some how to dvds online, watched youtube descriptions. I ended up really only using it a lot for like a month. Every time you pole dance you have to make sure and stretch really well cuz I am super sore every time I use it and I get bruises all over. Its very fun though.
Now I mostly use it when I'm a little tipsy or if I'm home alone and feel like dancing a bunch. It's a great work out and really fun at parties. Then you can practice a whole bunch and when you feel like you have some sweet skills that you want to show off, go do an amateur night at a strip club and bring your friends to cheer for you. Super fun.

That sucks. It's something I would quite like to do as well, but as with everything, finding the time is impossible!
