Why on earth did I buy brandy? It's gross. I must have had a momentary lapse of reason. Temporary booze insanity. I'm mixing it with rootbeer, which is yum, but the brandy only makes the rootbeer less yum. Sigh.
I'm sitting, watching chat scroll along and feeling no desire whatsoever to be social with people. I tried going out tonight and that didn't do the trick either. I think I have a case of compulsive winter hibernation. It's too fucking cold and dry to be nice to people. If anyone needs me I'll be under 6 blankets with a book and a nasty alcoholic beverage.

Try mixing the Brandy with 7up and add a lemon wedge. That's how I've seen Brandy served. It wasn't bad.
