Easter. So it is.

We are such good parents here we forgot to put my daughter's basket out before we went to bed last night, and she woke us up by coming into our room crying that the Easter bunny didn't leave her a basket. She had looked all over the house and couldn't find it.

D'oh!

My wife, thinking fast as usual, sent me out to help our daughter search, and then put the basket out in our room for us to find when we returned.

"Guess you missed it in the dark, and the easter bunny knew you would be here in our room when you woke up!"

She bought it.

The tears stopped, and everything is fine now.

I am SSSOOO glad I have a smart wife.
