Hey there kids!
The move went very well, and my BF and I are feeling quite at home in our new digs. Work has been insanely busy and amazing as always...there's really no better job, in my opinion, than being a hair stylist.
I did, however, get a good lesson in how dangerous it can be when I chopped off a decent section of my knuckle last Thursday. Luckily, I was actually cutting the last section when I caught my finger in my new shears, so my client still got a good, finished haircut. Took a quick, free trip to the emergency room, (Thanks OHIP
got 9 stitches, and rode home.
Strangely enough, as I was sitting in the waiting room watching the news unfold about MJ (How fucking crazy is that!?! Crazy.) and A former co-worker, and fellow stylist, was leaving the emergency room after having her eye treated due to a round brush in the eye! Pretty messed up.
the stitches will come out in a few days, and I didn't do any damage to the muscle or nerves, so I should be fine, and I've been back at work since Monday.
So on a totally different note, after having 2 sets, Bubbles below and la couleur rouge, up in MR for 9 and 10 months, I've decided to take them down next week, so if you haven't seen them and want to, now is the time!
Tower Suite will stay up though.

A girlfriend of mine just did sort of a similar thing to her finger. She has lost a little feeling on the top of part of her finger. Good thing you seem to have lucked out.
