I was tagged by @pistache and thank you young lady for this opportunity. This was incredibly challenging for me because I am such a huge fan of the film and cinema. I will start with a movie this has probably given me the biggest insights to my spiritually and one that I am a total geek for, Star Wars. The spiritual lessions that were provided in this movie and every other one that George Lucas wrote are epic and in each one of them are lessons that WE all need to be reminded of and thus, I feel, these movies cannot be over watched.
Next up is an amazing movies written and directed by Midonna's ex-husband Guy Richie. This really is the movies that turned me on to British Gangster movies. Not only does it have a star studded cast including Brad Pit, Benicio Del Torro, and Jason Statham among others but the cadence and comedy is just feverish and fun. Fun fact the the twin girls who played Cousin Avi's daughters are actually the children of a real English Gangester and directed their own movie on the the English under world. I have always been a fan of quality acting and Benicio Del Torro is one of my favorites as is Brad Pitt they both excersize their range in this flick. Additionally I am a huge Angliophile and just adore the English language and how it's used as well as the Cockney rhyming slang.
Third on my list would have to be Quentin Tarantino's classic Pulp Fiction. This movie too kept a fast pace and it was fascinating watching the separate sub stories meld into one. As far as I am concerned Mr.Taratino can do no wrong as a writer/director. Not to mention the sound track that is as family's or more then the actual movie.
Best n my short list would have to be Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. This is just some interesting comedic escapades of two people getting loaded in a variety of way in Las Vegas. I enjoy it because of the quality acting Binicio Del Torro and of course Jonny Depp. Also I can relate to some level to the situations this movie is avout I adore a good chuckle and this move as some hairy scenarios.
Last but not least in my line up is an older flick with another quality cast. This is the movie that really sold me on Edward Norton as an amazing actor. The range he exibits in this movie along side Rober De Niro is simply out standing. There is a real since if empathy for the criminals in this movie about a heist and the measures they go to to make it happen. Good quality acting by some amazing thesipans. I highly recomend viewing to gain an appreciation for Edward Norton and his awesome range as an actor. Oh did I mention it has Brando too.
Well there it is trust me this is very much a short list I am a fanatical fan of cinema and acting I didn't even get into my strong female leads in this list perhaps another time. Thank you @pistache for tagging ,e in this.
