I'm devastated by the whole Kanye/Taylor Swift debacle. I was in tears all night, my mascara was running everywhere. It was all my girlfriend could to do keep me from plunging off the third-floor balcony to the bricks below. I don't know how I can go on living knowing that an award show was ruined by this horrible, horrible moment.
OH WAIT. I DON'T FUCKING CARE!
Life in Perth is great. I spent some time yesterday getting to know some of the local music store owners and one of them offered to try and hook me up with some guitar students. They also carry Martin guitars so I'm looking at getting one once the money starts coming in. I've found a place through November and am looking at moving into a bigger house a bit farther south. There is one with an AMAZING kitchen and a bathtub. I haven't had a bath (as gay as that sounds) in about five years.
Otherwise things are not exciting in an "OH MY GOD LOOK WHAT I DID" way like they were in Korea. They are exciting in other ways, though. I'm the happiest I've been in ages and I've got everything I could ask for. Moving here is the best thing I've done. Now I've got to figure out what to cook for dinner...
I'm itching to get new ink. I found a few parlors and am very tempted to just walk in and get something started. But then I think, maybe I should wait until I have more steady income. Speaking of money, I'm dreading calling the bank in Korea to have the rest of my money transferred home. They managed to screw up my last one so I have about three grand still sitting in a bank account there. I get a headache just thinking about it. Ick.
The sun is out, so I must be, too.
